NorCal4Iran is a non-politically affiliated, non-partisan coalition of individuals united in solidarity with the people of Iran.
NorCal4Iran’s goal is to support the people of Iran in their struggle for democracy, freedom, and basic human rights, as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our immediate demands are:

1. An end to state-sponsored violence and repression, and accountability for crimes committed;
2. The immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience, including journalists, students, and civil society activists; and
3. That the UN Secretary General should immediately appoint a delegation to travel to Iran to investigate incidents of repression and torture, particularly incidents of sexual abuse and rape, as well as the fate of prisoners and disappeared persons.

NorCal4Iran understands the Iranian community is diverse and welcomes all individuals who support the Iranian people demands for human rights. NorCal4Iran believes that change in Iran will come from grassroots movements within, and thus opposes any military action or broad economic stations against Iran.
